Much thanks to DC Commission for the Arts for allowing our students to express themselves (and using their words as art)!
This blog is designed to chronicle the wide-range of experiences of participants Adolescents Building Literacy through Expression (ABLE). ABLE serves students between the ages of 10-18 living in Washington, D.C. Our program creates the intellectual and emotional space for adolescents to expand and enhance their skills in reading, math, science, history, writing, and health. The ultimate goal of our program is reflected in our motto:"Thinking Outside of School".
